It's a simple math problem. The average age of a credit union member is 10 years older than the average age of a North American. If credit unions do not reverse the trend and attract the next generation of credit union members, the future doesn't look so bright.

The Why Gen Y Blog has a simple mission: to equip credit union executives and marketers with relevant information that will help them succeed in attracting and retaining new Generation Y members.

Why Gen Y Live with Brent Dixon, next up Andy LaFlamme

DeAndré's inaugural Why Gen Y Live show with Brent Dixon last Thursday was a great start. In all of the excitement and some minor tech issues DeAndré forgot to hit record, so from this point forward our first episode will be referred to as the Amazing Lost Episode!

DeAndré's guest this Thursday is Andy LaFlamme from Oregon's MaPS Credit Union. Tune in live at 1 p.m. Pacific / 3 p.m. Central / 4 p.m. Eastern to watch and participate! Log in a little early so you don't miss a thing.

Watch the above short recording to hear about last week's highlights and what to expect in the upcoming show.

Tim
